Machete's never misses! Their happy hour menu is so cheap - and there's great options! $3 delicious tacos... in this economy!? 10/10! Their service is great too! Margaritas are strong but still tasty!

Awesome Happy Hour specials with a fun, energetic environment (Colfax location). House margs had a pretty poor quality tequila and I felt awful after only one drink, so I definitely won't get their Skinny marg again. They were pretty strong margaritas though, unlike places where you can barely taste the alcohol. Overall it was a good experience.

Matt was awesome. Friendly, attentive, and a cool dude. Queso Fundido is magical. Will definitely be back.

Machete Tequila + Tacos is a Colorado staple with multiple locations. I enjoy the fun and eclectic experience when dining. All the tacos and drinks were extremely tasty! However, the queso could have been better in my opinion. The consistency wasn't nearly creamy enough. The host and server were very friendly and attentive. It is quite pricey for Mexican food, but I do recommend giving this place a try! It is one of the best taco places in Denver!

We had a great server who was funny and quick with what we requested. I thought the food was decent but not amazing. It was fun because all the staff dressed up for Halloween.

Food here is always plentiful and affordable. We have our pricing cannot be beat. They also do tequila flights?! Need I say more? The servers are always so fast. The restaurant is always bustling. If you want a good time for a good pregame spot, this is the place.

Stopped in for a bite to eat and some margaritas. We decided to sit at the bar. Service was friendly but not the most attentive. It was slow, so the staff was hanging out and chatting so we had to flag them down to get another beverage. The Fresno salsa was oilier than usual so it lost some of its spice. House margarita was great and strong as always. Parking can be a little tricky depending on the time of day since all parking is along the neighboring streets.

Great tacos and margaritas. We came on a Sunday at 5:30, and we didn't have to wait long for an outdoor table for 4 people. Highly recommend the chips and salsa too!

Went here on a Tuesday cause I'm a stereotype. But really I heard good things about the place so went to check it out. Right off the bat everyone who worked there was super nice. They even moved me inside when they noticed the sprinkling and it was between 3-4 different folks who attended me in some way (whether to take my order, help me move things or just to check how I'm doing). About the food I got the masa chips with 4 different kinds of salsa, the queso fundido, and two arrechera (steak) tacos. From the 4 salsas the best ones IMO are the green and brownish one. Probably cause I like spicy and they are the spicier ones. However the winner in it all was the queso fundido. Even took it to go. It comes with tortillas and I would just drop some melted gooey cheese in there and munch. The steak tacos were delicious too but I do I love ooey gooey cheese so the fundido won. They have a lot of to go Tupperware and the like most likely cause they also do take out. Highly recommend the place. It's yum! Might go again during my visit in CO.
